estimating.services ("we", "us", or "our") operates the estimating platform available at estimating.services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password (stored securely as a hash). We never store your password in plain text.

Usage data

We collect information about how you use the platform — projects, takeoffs, materials, and assemblies you create. This data is yours and is used solely to provide the service.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. We store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account access.

Technical data

We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited for security and debugging purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the estimating platform
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts)
• To improve the platform and fix issues
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your project data for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, hosted on AWS in the Asia Pacific region. We use row-level security to ensure each account can only access its own data.

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and deployment

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Cookies

We use cookies solely to maintain your authentication session. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
